Plans and guarantees

Two plans. Two guarantees. One contract.

Choose the score you need. We fix the guarantee in your contract before lessons begin, and we sign only when we can see the way there.

Plan I

Base

1350+Guaranteed score

$3,040

Best for Targets up to 1350

A strong, competitive score. The work builds command of every question type, accuracy in both modules, and pacing that holds for the full two hours and fourteen minutes.

Apply for an interview

Plan II

Advanced

1450+Guaranteed score

$4,100

Best for Targets above 1350

The same format, aimed higher: the hardest questions, the harder second module, and the last few errors between a strong score and 1450+.

Apply for an interview

Both plans include

  • An admission interview that sets your starting level, your goal, and your timeline
  • One-on-one lessons, taught personally by the instructor
  • Two lessons a week, 1.5 hours each
  • Three to six months, with the exact length set at the interview
  • Both sections: Reading and Writing, and Math
  • Kaplan, The Princeton Review, Khan Academy, The Official SAT Study Guide (College Board), and the instructor’s private question bank
  • Guarantee terms fixed in your contract before lessons begin

We take a student on only when we can see we will get them to the stated score. When we can’t, we say so plainly and take no money.

How the guarantee works

Guaranteed, or we don’t begin.

The guarantee is a promise we make only after we have measured the distance.

  1. The interview.

We establish your starting level, your goal, and your timeline.

  2. An honest answer.

If we can see the way to the stated score, we tell you. If we can’t, we say so plainly and take no money.

  3. The contract.

The guarantee terms are fixed in writing before the first lesson. You read every term before you sign.

  4. The work.

Two lessons a week, for three to six months, until test day.

We never promise admission; universities decide that. The SAT score is the one thing we guarantee, and only through the contract.

The program

The program, in plain terms.

Built around your goal, not around a cohort. Here is exactly what you sign up for.

Who it’s for

A small number of families aiming at leading universities, who value privacy, personal attention, and a predictable result. The schedule adapts to the student, and the program is built around the student’s goal.

The method

Six steps, from diagnostic to test day.

Measure, plan, practice, test, review, perform. The same discipline, in every lesson.

  1. Diagnostic

The interview and a diagnostic set your starting level, your target, and your timeline. You know where you stand from the first week.

  2. Plan

A lesson plan built around your gaps, not a syllabus built for a class, and counted backward from your test date.

  3. Practice

Two lessons a week, 1.5 hours each, with targeted practice in between from the books and the private question bank.

  4. Adaptive mocks

Full-length practice tests in the digital, adaptive format, under real timing, so the real test feels familiar.

  5. Review

Every mistake taken apart until you can explain it, and avoid it next time.

  6. Test day

Pacing, routine, the device, and the nerves, all rehearsed before the real thing.

The digital SAT

The digital SAT, in two minutes.

The SAT went digital in 2023 for international students and in 2024 in the US. Here is how it works now.

98 questions 2 h 14 min, plus a 10-minute break

Module 1 is a broad mix of easy, medium, and hard questions. How you do on it decides whether Module 2 is harder or easier.
  • It adapts.

Each section has two modules. Your performance on the first decides whether the second is, on average, harder or easier.

  • No going back.

You can move freely within a module. Once it ends, it is closed for good.

  • Short passages.

Reading and Writing uses passages of 25 to 150 words, each with a single question.

  • Desmos is built in.

A graphing calculator sits inside the test app for the whole Math section. You may also bring an approved calculator of your own.

  • Scored 400–1600.

Each section is scored 200–800. Scores arrive about two weeks after test day.

  • You choose what colleges see.

You send scores by test date. Some colleges superscore, taking your best section scores across dates.

Before test day

  • Two questions in each module are unscored pretest questions. They look like all the others, so answer every question as if it counts.
  • The test runs in Bluebook, College Board’s testing app, on Windows, a Mac, an iPad, or a school-managed Chromebook. Not on a phone or a personal Chromebook. The battery should last three to four hours.
  • No suitable device? College Board lends one if you ask at least 30 days before test day.
  • Each registration includes four free score sends, which you can use until nine days after the test.

The first module sets the difficulty of the second, so accuracy early on matters. We train for both modules, under real timing.

From the instructor’s notebook: a student who asked questions the instructor couldn’t answer, another who took two practice tests a day, and long walks spent on abstract ideas.

By design

Why this track stays small.

The instructor works with a very small number of students at a time. It is a condition of the work, not a temporary limitation.

Every student takes two lessons a week, 1.5 hours each, with the same instructor. That is three hours of one person’s week, every week, for three to six months. Seats are counted in hours, and there are only so many.

By the available statistics, this format produces some of the highest results in Central Asia.

Few seats each season.

The waitlist is a list, not a reservation. We write to you when a seat opens.

The contract sets it out in writing, and you read it before the first lesson: which sitting counts toward the guarantee, what we ask of you (attendance and homework), and what happens if the score falls short. Ask to see the terms at the interview. We take a student on only when we can see the way to the stated score.

Base is $3,040 and guarantees 1350+. Advanced is $4,100 and guarantees 1450+. Both are one-on-one, two lessons a week for three to six months, with the same materials. The difference is the target, and how far the work has to reach.

Advanced. It guarantees 1450+, and we plan for your full target. At the interview, we tell you plainly how realistic that target is for your timeline.

Count backward from your earliest application deadline. Scores arrive about two weeks after test day, so for deadlines in early November, the October sitting is usually the last safe one. If your calendar allows, plan for two sittings: some colleges superscore, and a second date gives you room.
