Privacy, in plain words.
What we collect, why we collect it, where it goes, and how to have it deleted.
The short version
We collect what you type into our forms, and the basic records any web host keeps.
We use it to prepare for your consultation, answer your questions, and run the waitlist.
Our host, Netlify, stores form submissions in the United States. A copy may also reach a private Telegram chat that only our team reads.
We never sell your information or use it for advertising. This site runs no advertising or analytics trackers.
Dossier drafts stay in your own browser until you send or clear them.
To see, correct, or delete your information, write to abdulaziz@nycmail.com.
Who we are
ScoreMarch is an educational organization based in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, with two houses: ScoreMarch Group, for admissions and educational consulting, and ScoreMarch Academy, for SAT preparation. ScoreMarch is responsible for the information you send through this site.
In this notice, “we” means ScoreMarch. “You” means the student, or the parent or guardian who writes to us.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us, plus what any web host records.
- The dossier (Book a consultation). Your name, date of birth, citizenship, city, and contact details; your school, grades, and test scores; your activities, awards, interests, and the writing you share; your goals and the universities you’re considering; your family’s budget range and need for financial aid; a parent or guardian’s contact; your appointment preferences; and how you heard about us. We also record your device’s time zone, so we can show appointment times in your own time. If you ask for a quick call instead, we receive only your name, your phone number or Telegram username, what the call is about, and the time you chose.
- The waitlist and the Academy interview request. Your name, email, phone number or Telegram username, your grade or graduation year, the program that interests you, and whether you are the student or a parent. The interview request also asks for your current and target SAT scores, your planned test date, the plan you’re considering, and any notes you add.
- Messages. Whatever you send us by email, by Telegram, or by phone.
- Server records. Like any web host, ours logs technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, your browser, and the pages you request. We don’t use them to identify you.
- Your browser. While you fill in the dossier, your answers are saved in your browser’s local storage, on your device only. We can’t see them until you press Send. Sending clears them, and so does “Clear my answers.” The site may also remember small choices on your device, such as a notice you’ve closed.
This site uses no cookies for tracking or advertising, and it loads no analytics or advertising scripts.
Please don’t send us passport numbers, passwords, or medical details we haven’t asked for.
Why we use it
- To prepare for your consultation or interview, so the first meeting starts with what matters.
- To contact you about your appointment, your place on the waitlist, or a question you asked.
- If you become our student: to do the work we agree on, and to keep the records that go with it.
- To keep this site and its forms working, and free of spam.
- To understand, in total rather than person by person, how families find us.
We use your information because you chose to send it to us, and with your consent, which you give when you send a form. You can withdraw it at any time (see “Your choices and rights”).
Where it goes
- Netlify hosts this site and receives every form submission. It stores submissions in the United States and checks each one for spam with an automated service, Akismet.
- Telegram. A copy of each submission may be sent to a private Telegram chat that only our team can read, so we can reply quickly.
- Email. When we write to you, our messages and your replies are stored by our email provider.
- Our team. Only the people who prepare for and run consultations read your dossier.
These services may store information outside Uzbekistan, including in the United States. By sending a form, you agree that your information may be stored there.
What we never do
- We never sell or rent your information.
- We never use it for advertising.
- We never share it with universities, firms, or mentors without your permission. If you become our student and a mentor or a host organization needs to know about you, we’ll ask you first.
- When we publish results, cards show only a first name and last initial. Published SAT score reports show the name as College Board printed it, with the Record Locator and registration number hidden. If you appear on this site and want to be taken down, write to us.
How long we keep it
- Dossiers and waitlist entries: until two years after our last contact with you. Then we delete them.
- If you become our student: for as long as we work together, and for the same period after our last contact.
- Drafts in your browser: until you send them, clear them, or clear your browser’s data.
- Copies in our Telegram chat are deleted along with the original.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Students under 18
Many students who write to us are under 18. If you are:
- fill in the dossier with a parent or guardian’s knowledge;
- add their name and contact, which the dossier asks for;
- expect that we may contact them before we meet.
Parents and guardians can ask to see, correct, or delete their child’s information at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the information we hold about you;
- correct anything that’s wrong;
- delete it;
- stop using it, by withdrawing your consent;
- send you a copy in a common format.
Write to abdulaziz@nycmail.com from the email address you used, or include your dossier reference. We may ask a question to make sure it’s you. We’ll reply within 30 days.
If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the data-protection authority where you live. In Uzbekistan, that is the Personalization Agency under the Ministry of Justice.
Security
Our forms travel over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only our team can open the submissions. No system is perfectly secure, so we collect only what helps us prepare, and we delete what we no longer need.
Links and changes
Links to other sites, such as Telegram, Instagram, or the College Board, lead to pages with their own privacy policies.
If we change this notice, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change affects information you’ve already sent us, we’ll tell you directly.
